Speaking at the National Institute of Education Teachers’ Investiture Ceremony, Education Minister Chan Chun Sing urged teachers to prioritise the demands of school and identify what pursuits need to be stopped. The two-day ceremony will see 834 new and returning teachers graduate and join the education service. There are also 37 award recipients, including 10 who will receive multiple awards.
