Singapore trials face, iris scanning for automated in-car clearance at land checkpoints

Singapore is trialling a a new version of its automated immigration clearance system at Woodlands Checkpoint. Drivers and their passengers could soon clear immigration at land checkpoints without leaving their vehicle, by scanning their face and irises instead of their fingerprints.
