Singapore is looking to impose more restrictions on the crypto marketplace to protect consumers from its volatility. Senior Minister Tharman Shanmugaratnam said measures on the table include retail participation limits, and rules on the use of borrowed capital to trade. On retail participation, he said cryptocurrencies are risky investments and not suitable for the general public.
