Singapore’s consumer watchdog has called on more retailers to get on board its price-comparison app. Supermarket chain Sheng Siong has added all its house brand grocery products on the Price Kaki app. This brings the total to over 6,200 products listed on the app, including those from other supermarkets, like FairPrice and Giant. Sheng Siong said it’s also increasing its discount for senior citizens from 3% to 4%. They will enjoy the special discounts on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. The initiative starts from next week until the end of the year.
