Queen Elizabeth’s coffin to be flown to London as tens of thousands gather to pay respects

The British Embassy in Tokyo has been busy receiving visitors since the death of Queen Elizabeth. Hundreds of people queued up for a chance to pen their condolences. Some bowed their heads in prayer and others laid flowers before the gates. Meanwhile, from England to Scotland, tens of thousands have been lining up to pay their final respects to Queen Elizabeth. Her coffin will be flown to London later today. The Queen’s funeral is set to take place on Sep 19. Some 500 world leaders and heads of state are expected to attend.
