Primary 1 and Kindergarten 1 students will attend the first day of school on Jan 3 next year. The rest will start classes on Jan 4. The arrangement is to help younger students ease into their new school environment. The move was previously introduced as part of COVID-19 measures. MOE said it will continue in the years ahead as it helped younger students make a better transition.
