Owners of older buildings are being asked to step up their efforts to meet sustainability targets. National Development Minister Desmond Lee said that so far, slightly more than half of the target to green buildings in Singapore by 2030 has been met. He said they can tap on a scheme that provides up to S$1.2 million in funding to retrofit buildings for greater energy efficiency. Mr Lee was speaking at the opening of DBS’ newly retrofitted net-zero building.
