NTU scientists create device to harvest electricity from low wind speeds

Nanyang Technological University scientists have come up with a new way of harnessing wind power. Their “wind harvester” can generate electricity from wind speeds as low as 2 metres per second. It can power small devices such as LED lights and sensors to monitor buildings.
