Mass vaccination for monkeypox is not on the cards for Singapore at the moment. This is even as a global outbreak widens and local cases here inch up. Health Minister Ong Ye Kung said the move is not currently recommended as the benefits do not outweigh the risks. At the same time, experts have said that the risk to the general public remains low.
