New vocational education syllabus for special needs students to better prepare them for work

More opportunities — both paid and unpaid — for special education students to contribute at home, in the community and at work. This is the goal of a new vocational education syllabus, which broadens the concept of work and equips these students with soft skills. Around half of special education graduates gain employment or further their education or training each year. It’s hoped the new syllabus will open up more inclusive opportunities for them.
