Ukraine’s top war crimes prosecutor and European judicial authorities are in the Netherlands to coordinate investigations into atrocities committed during Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. There are more than 20,000 war crimes investigations open, with different countries heading teams. Officials say evidence needs to be credible and organised.
