National Heritage Board’s travelling exhibition traces history of pasar malams in Singapore

The National Heritage Board’s series of travelling exhibitions is set to welcome a new addition, “Lelong! Lelong! Pasar Malam in Singapore”. It was launched at the Sembawang Public Library today (July 22), and will travel to other locations across Singapore from next month. Visitors can learn more about the history and development of pasar malams in Singapore, from as far back as the night market in the New World Amusement Park in 1924.
