Defence Minister Ng Eng Hen has said that the country’s national defence research and development arm, or DSO, is indispensable to the Singapore Armed Forces. Without the organisation, the country would be at a serious disadvantage because of manpower and space constraints. The DSO, tasked with developing tech solutions to help protect Singapore, is celebrating its 50th anniversary.
