Man charged with causing death of ACS(I) student during high-element rope course at SAFRA Yishun

A 22-year-old man has been charged with causing the death of a 15-year-old Anglo-Chinese School (Independent) student during a high-element rope course at SAFRA Yishun. Muhammad Nurul Hakim Mohamed Din was handed one charge of causing death by a rash act not amounting to homicide. The outdoor activities facilitator is accused of failing to ensure that both leg straps of Jethro Puah Xin Yang’s safety harness were properly buckled and adjusted. The teen was suspended in the loose harness after he fell off the rope course, and his leg straps unbuckled. He was strangled as a result.
