WATCH: Malaysia’s Election Commission is expected to decide the date of both nomination and polling days today, taking into consideration the monsoon season and the COVID-19 situation in the country. More than 21 million people are eligible to vote, including 5.7 million first-timers. The election is expected to cost taxpayers about 1 billion ringgit (US$215 million). CNA’s Melissa Goh reports.
