More COVID-19 infections are expected in Singapore. The country has been reporting a thousand new infections every day over the past week. The Health Ministry said the Omicron variant BA.2.75 is making up a quarter of these cases. CNA spoke to Dr Leong Hoe Nam, Infectious Diseases Specialist from the Rophi Clinic at Mount Elizabeth Novena Hospital, and asked him how severe is the BA.2.75 variant and if Singapore will need safe management measures again to cope with another wave.
