Indonesian football stampede: Should the police have used tear gas?

Police used tear gas to disperse football fans storming a pitch in Malang, Indonesia, on Saturday (Oct 1), triggering a stampede that killed at least 125 people. Professor Hans Westerbeek, from the International Sport Business department at Victoria University, comments on the use of tear gas at the stadium, in this interview on CNA’s Asia First.
