Singapore is developing a pipeline of technicians to work on electric vehicles as it pushes for greener transport. Korean car manufacturer Hyundai Motor, distributor Komoco Motors and the Institute of Technical Education have signed a deal to train EV specialists over the next five years. Up to 10 ITE students will be granted internships at the two companies each year to learn how to repair and maintain high-voltage electric vehicles.
