The Building and Construction Authority is updating its national standard for assessing construction quality, with an added focus on water seepage, ponding, and shattering glass. Projects, developers and builders will soon also be banded based on factors like track records and public feedback. The aim is to make it easier for homeowners to assess the quality of the building before buying.
