Nurses can now look forward to more support to help them grow in their careers — drawing on a combination of new and continuing initiatives — as they keep up the fight against COVID-19. The Health Ministry has reiterated its commitment to helping nurses develop professionally, on the sidelines of a ceremony to recognise exceptional contributions made by 125 nursing professionals. Thanking those at the Nurses’ Merit Award, Health Minister Ong Ye Kung highlighted their crucial role in helping Singapore reach endemicity in the COVID-19 pandemic.
