1 in 2 Singaporeans doubts organisations will meet climate goals: Survey

Cost is shaping up as a barrier to greater sustainability efforts, according to a survey on sentiments, attitudes and perceptions in Singapore. Five hundred people took part in the study. The survey found that while more Singaporeans prefer to live and work in green buildings, less than half are prepared to pay more for them. Furthermore, only half of the respondents are confident that organisations will meet their emission targets, while less than two-thirds are confident Singapore can achieve its net-zero ambitions by 2050.
