 | Kristin Chenoweth (© Joseph Marzullo/WENN) | Tony Award winners Kristin Chenoweth and Idina Menzel, who co-starred in the original cast of Broadway's Wicked, were among the participants in the 82nd Annual Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade,which was held in New York City on Thursday, November 27 and aired live on NBC-TV from 9am-12pm. Over one million people attended the event, according to reports.The parade also featured the casts of the Broadway shows In the Heights, The Little Mermaid, South Pacific, and Irving Berlin's White Christmas; Kermit the Frog and 300 children from Camp Broadway singing the original number "I Believe in Santa Claus," written by Wesley Whatley and Bill Schermerhorn and choreographed by Tony Parise. There were also appearances by Trace Adkins, David Archuleta, Miley Cyrus, James Taylor, Andy Williams, and performers from the upcoming Broadway revival of Hair.
