p2pnet news | Music:- Using today’s formulaic corporate music industry ‘product’ offerings as a kind of standard, Ashley Alexandra Dupre isn’t too bad.
She’s already a celebrity call-girl, thanks to her carnal association with ex-New York governor Eliot Spitzer via the Emperor`s Club V.I.P. web page.
The question is —- will it be enough to rocket her permanently as a singer into the ranks of the rich and famous?
Ashley Alexandra Dupre, 22, is “Kristen” whom the [ex] New York governor, “allegedly had shipped to Washington, D.C., for sex the night before Valentine’s Day,” says the Sydney Morning Herald.
When we went for a look at her MySpace space at 6:08 am Pacific, her song, ironically entitled What We Want, had clocked up a staggering 2,724,773 plays and she’d had 6,728,361 profile views.
Another of her songs, Unspoken Words, is currently going for a tad under $2 per download on amiestreet.com.
“What destroys me, strengthens me,” she says on MySpace, listing her brother, Etta James, Aretha Franklin, Celine Dion, Christina Aguilera, Frank Sinatra, Patsy Cline, Carly Simon, Diana Krall, Madonna, Whitney Houston, Mary J. Blige, Mariah Carey, Alicia Keys, Aerosmith, Lauryn Hill, Keisha Cole, U2, Jack Johnson and Vivian Green as her musical influences.
“Hooking for the Emperors Club and emerging as the Earth’s best-known call girl is surely not the career plan Ashley Alexandra Dupre had in mind when she moved to New York to make it as a singer,” says the Washington Post, adding:
“But now that she’s achieved fame at the media stakeout level, as ‘Kristen,’ a bunch of music biz talent scouts and managers are giving her a listen.
“Hello, silver lining!”
How long before she hits the P2P networks?
