Brad Pitt and
Angelina Jolie may make more noise when they have babies or adopt them, but Pitt's
Oceans co-star Matt Damon is no slouch in that department, however. Matt Damon and his wife Luciana Barroso, now Luciana Damon, have already had one baby together and have just welcomed a second child together into this world. Matt Damon and Luciana Barroso are now parents to a second baby daughter, who will go by the name of Gia Zavala Damon according to Retuers.
Matt Damon and Luciana Barroso are already parents to a two-year-old baby daughter named Isabella, born in 2006. After Gia Zavala Damon was born on Wednesday, August 20, the Damons spokesperson, Jennifer Allen, sent an e-mail to Reuters saying that Gia is a "healthy, beautiful baby."
Matt Damon met Luciana Barroso in 2003, while Damon was filming the Farrelly Brothers comedy
Stuck on You as Greg Kinnear's conjoined twin. Luciana Barroso was working as a barmaid in Florida, near where Damon was filming. The two then were able to fall in love and were married in 2005.
Luciana Barroso, 32, has another daughter from a previous relationship, the now 10-year-old Alex. After Barroso and Damon were married, Isabella was born the next year.
Damon, 37, is best known for the
Bourne and
Oceans movie trilogies and Oscar winners
Good Will Hunting and
The Departed. Damon completed work on Steven Soderbergh's upcoming thriller
The Informant and the
Iraq war drama
Green Zone, and is rumored to be preparing for a fourth
Bourne movie.
Despite Damon's increased stardom in the last several years, Damon and Barroso have stayed relatively low key and out of insane scrutiny, unlike many of Damon's famous co-stars over the years. Coincidentally, on the day Damon's baby was born, it was reported by Access
Hollywood that his famous friend
Ben Affleck will be having another baby with wife Jennifer Garner.
